María has over 25 years of experience as an international consultant and project management expert. She specializes in delivering measurable and sustainable results by improving operations and driving change.
María has extensive experience in operations excellence, change management, process improvement, lean six sigma, and strategy design and implementation in industries such as automotive; construction; food & beverage; renewable and nuclear energy; steel and ferroalloys; and insurance and banking.
María started her career as a Project Manager for Celerant Consulting (now Hitachi Consulting), leading operations improvement projects in France, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, UK, and Spain. She also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Project Manager, where she led similar projects in Spain, Norway, and Brazil.
María has also worked in executive roles for companies such as Strategy Focus in Spain (Director) and Trust Management Advisors in Spain and France (Director) where she held progressively responsible roles.
Prior to joining TBM, María specialized in leading Lean and Six Sigma, process improvement, Industry 4.0, and cost reduction projects in Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland.
María earned an MBA (University of Chicago) and a Master in Management of International Projects (Ecole Superiéure de Commerce de Paris). She also earned an Industrial Engineering degree in Industrial Organization (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales, Spain) and an Industrial Engineering degree in Electronics (Escuela Universitaria Ingenieros Técnicos Industriales, Spain). María is fluent in Spanish (native), English, French, and Portuguese.
