André has over 20 years of experience as an international consultant, operations excellence strategist, and business transformation expert. He leads the company’s European operations including business development, client management, and consulting.

Expertise

André has extensive experience in manufacturing, procurement, and innovation throughout the supply chain in industries such as food & beverage, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, medical equipment, and electronics.

Prior to joining TBM, André worked for Myrtle Consulting Group (now a part of Accenture) as the Client Managing Director. In that role, he expanded Accenture’s presence in Europe, delivering millions in EBITDA improvement through operational excellence and procurement transformation projects across Europe.

Earlier in his career, André held progressively responsible roles in Philips in Europe. As the Head of Procurement for the Mother & Child Care Division, he implemented key strategies for the acquisition of materials from partners and suppliers and achieved millions in cost reduction. He also worked at Philips Lighting in the United States as a procurement leader and post-merger integration and commodity manager.

André started his career at Celerant Consulting (now Hitachi Consulting) as Operational Excellence Project Manager. In this role, he worked with multinational clients, including Shell, Akzo Nobel, NS Railway, Atlas Copco, and KPN Telecom to improve their operational performance.

André earned an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Erasmus University (Netherlands) and an executive MBA from the WITS Business School (South Africa). He also earned certifications in Six Sigma / Lean. He is fluent in Dutch (his native language), English, and German.
