The average TBM consultant has more than twenty years of senior operational experience, typically has a technical background, and has personally led a continuous improvement initiative or led a business prior to joining TBM. 

Our principals, country leaders and managing directors work directly with clients to implement the Policy Deployment process and to leverage Lean Sigma as a Strategy for Growth.  Our senior consultants work side-by-side with our clients to provide experiential, hands-on transformation and drive operational excellence.  Our Lean Sigma Institute instructors, widely recognized as experts in their fields, share their real-world experience with students and help transfer knowledge directly to your continuous improvement leaders to help internalize, accelerate and sustain the gains of your improvement activities.

TBM was founded in 1991 by Anand Sharma and he has been the President and CEO since the inception.  We are managed by a corporate management team comprised of managing directors and team leaders from each international region responsible for activities in the areas of consulting, training & development and administration.  TBM is organized around four major client sectors: Food and Beverage, Industrial Products including equipment, supplies, and components, Consumer Goods, and Medical Products.

TBM serves more than 200 active clients across the globe. Our global footprint enables us to support clients on the following continents with local capabilities:  Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.  Our consultants are strategically located around the globe and based out of ten offices.  The TBM corporate headquarters is located in Durham, NC in the United States. Regional offices are situated in Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and France. 

Our sister company, Guidon Performance Solutions, is a management consulting firm specializing in business performance improvement, based in Phoenix, AZ.  Guidon serves clients in the service sector including:  financial services, healthcare, government, retail and information technology.
