Jakub has extensive manufacturing and operational leadership experience. He leads consulting in Eastern Europe and helps clients maximize results.

A lean leader with exceptional skills in project and cross-cultural management, Jakub brings in-depth experience in operations management, specifically in the areas of manufacturing, maintenance, inventory control, facility control, and continuous improvement. He has extensive experience in multi-component just-in-time inventory assembly methods.

Prior joining TBM, Jakub worked for WABCO Automotive in Wroclaw, Poland, where he started as a process engineer before becoming a full-time Black Belt responsible for Six Sigma lean management support. He reduced variation in plant processes and coached the plant’s continuous improvement team.

As acting leader of WABCO’s Six Sigma Lean Promotion Office, Jakub was responsible for implementing regular kaizen workshops and lean training and introducing lean principles to WABCO’s suppliers and customers. He completed 20 kaizen workshops for a 45 percent savings in floor space, 25 percent productivity improvement, and 40 percent machine up time improvement. He also improved plant inventory turnover from 11.2 to 17. His efforts led to an overall savings of $15 million.

Since joining TBM, Jakub has been instrumental in supporting the lean efforts of companies such as Dovista, Logoplaste, MESSER, Cimenterie Nationale, McCain, Franke, KROHNE, Plastiflex, and WIKA. He has consulted in the following countries: Slovakia, Czech Republic, Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, Lebanon, and others.

Jakub has a Master’s degree in engineering (automation systems) from Wroclaw Technical University and has received kaizen training from Shingijutsu in Tokyo, Japan. He is fluent in Polish and English and has a working knowledge of German
