Robert Vrugtman has over 30 years of experience as an international consultant and business transformation expert.

Robert has extensive experience in manufacturing, supply chain, transportation & logistics, pharma, chemicals, healthcare, construction, mining, energy, utilities, automotive, waste management, engineering, retail, telecommunications, financial services, and defense. 

Prior to joining TBM, Robert worked for Renoir Consulting as Operations Manager (India), Director of Business Analysis, and CEO. In his role as a CEO, he created and implemented strategic plans for Fortune 500 companies in different industries that consistently delivered on business and financial goals. 

Earlier in his career, Robert was the Interim CEO for NIKAS in Greece, where he implemented a turnaround plan to salvage the company from bankruptcy. The plan included organizational changes, elimination of unprofitable products, assessment of markets, introduction of new products, and a new marketing strategy to rebuild the brand and its products.

Robert started his career as an Operations Manager Consultant for IMPAC Implementation Consulting (UK) and held progressively responsible roles as Quality Manager for Reynolds Aluminum (Netherlands); Director of Business Development & COO for the European Performance Institute (Belgium); and Founder & CEO KinderWORLD Daycare (Netherlands).

Robert earned an MBA from Washington University. He also earned certifications in Project Management, Quality Management Assurance, and Lean Continuous Improvement. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified TQM Trainer. Robert is fluent in English, Dutch, German, and Spanish.
