Shang Zheng has more than 35+ years experience in industry and 20+ years experience as General Manager for foreign companies in China. He is currently Vice President of TBM Asia Pacific where he leads client engagements and helps bring new clients onboard.

Shang Zheng is an accomplished business leader who understands the importance of strong relationships with partners, customers and government. His primary role at TBM is to work with clients to ensure successful implementation and sustainment of critical performance improvements.

Prior to joining TBM, Shang was General Manager of Methode Electronics Shanghai for eight years. At Methode, Shang led a turnaround in both sales and profitability, achieving recognition as “Best Worldwide Supplier” for General Motors in continental Asia. Earlier in his career, Shang served as Director of Operations at Nordson China in Shanghai.

Shang served as a member of the lean core group at Delphi Packard in the US and was later promoted to Operations Director and General Manager at Delphi Packard in Shanghai. He led Delphi Packard Shanghai to win the 5th best global supplier award for both General Motors and Volkswagen in 2001 He also has experience working at large multi-national companies including Xerox and Whirlpool.

Shang earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Shanghai University of Science and Technology and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering. He is certified as a Green Belt from Delphi. He lives in Shanghai and is fluent in Mandarin and English.
