Renate is a leader of strategic business efficiency projects including cost reduction, lead-time reduction, and quality improvement with deep experience Performance Improvement, Lean Management, Coaching, Management System, Risk Management and Value Stream Mapping.
She has specialized knowledge of Project Management, Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production Systems, which she has successfully applied at various companies throughout Europe.
Her industry experience includes work with automotive tier 1 suppliers, industrial manufacturing, food and beverage, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
Other experience includes:
- Defining and implementing the introduction of Lean processes in a food factory. She was a project manager for the successful production line relocation from Belgium to Italy. They completed the project with no disruption to customers while maintaining a consistent level of quality efficiency.
- Coaching Toyota suppliers on project management methodology with a focus on process improvement resulting in the on-time launch of new components.
- Leading a mini transformation project based on three strategic axes: people, process and performance. She focused on coaching and cultural change as well as cost reduction weekly KPI tracking—helping the company to achieve more with fewer resources.
Renate graduated from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, with a Master of Arts in Chemical Engineering. She is fluent in Italian, English, French, Spanish and Dutch.
