Mike has worked with TBM for over 20 years and is considered an expert in quality issues, flow and lean implementation, particularly when coordinating LeanSigma launches across multi-plant organizations.

Michael Herr originally joined TBM in 1994 and led the effort to launch TBM’s European operations in 1995. He has been an advisor to companies such as Krohne in Holland, ALPLA in France and Spain, Getrag in Germany, Bunge, Dade Behring, McCain, Franke, Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, Hill-Rom in France, Unipart in England and Applica Products Inc. in China.

Michael is considered an expert in quality issues, flow and lean implementation, particularly when coordinating LeanSigma launches across multi-plant organizations. He received kaizen training from Shingijutsu in Tokyo, Japan.

Earlier in his career, Michael held a number of positions with Deere & Co. in both the United States and Germany. He later served as Directeur Général Europe for Tennessee Associates International in Paris, France.

A graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Engineering, Mike earned an MBA from Boston University’s Overseas Program in Heidelberg, Germany. He is fluent in French, German, Spanish and English.
